Had a great stay for what was required for my short visit and would come here again. The breakfast was tasty and satisfactory for my vegan diet with brilliant food. The room was adequate and the staff was efficient! Everything was great, nevertheless a few employees were very unhelpful.

The location was perfect for the event next door, and the rooms were cozy and clean. Unfortunately, some noise issues disrupted sleep a bit, and breakfast was in another building which was slightly inconvenient. It felt like decent value for the cost.

The room was clean and had good storage for my stuff, also the shower had lots of hot water which was nice. Breakfast was yummy at the caledonian next door, loads of options and very filling. I liked that it was only a short walk to dumfries , made it easy to explore. The bed was comfy enough to get some good sleep after long days. The staff were friendly n helpfull, definitely cute.
The shared bathroom was kinda gross, lights were out and the shelves looked unsafe. The key situation on arrival was super annoying, took way too long to get into my room.
